Black History Month Cookies

Way back when, before I was a mom (and cookie lady), I used to teach, but you knew that, right? 😉  My two favorite subjects to teach were Reading and Social Studies.  I love (I mean LOVE) learning about history, geography, and world cultures.   February is Black History Month which is always a fun month for teaching history.  There is so much to say about Black History Month, but this is a cookie blog not a history blog, so I will spare you and not get on my teacher soap box.

I have a gazillion boxes of my teaching supplies in our basement (much to my husband’s dismay).  I went digging around a few weeks ago and dug out my Black History file.  I found a ton of worksheets that had adorable clip art.  These worksheets are ancient so I am not even really sure where to give the credit.  But someone (not me) drew these and shared them on educational worksheets.  I thought they would be cute as cookies put into picture frames.
