Did you know it’s Teacher Appreciation Week? Yes, it really is! I hope that you told your favorite teacher how much you appreciate him/her (if you haven’t done it yet, go do it now!)! You see, in my former life, I was a teacher (before I had kids). So I have a big soft spot in my heart for all of the wonderful teachers in the world.
Our school celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week one week early. Each day of the week, my boys gave their teachers a small gift. I’ll try to post those pics (the ones I remembered to take) later.
For the lunch the parents provided, I figured (hoped!) they would enjoy a platter of cookies. I was brainstorming ideas, and thought about the wonderful cookies that I saw on Sweets by Suz’s blog. She did them for “Take Your Child to Work Day” but I thought they would be perfect for elementary school teachers. Thanks Suz for letting me borrow your idea!!
After writing all of the letters with icing, I realize that maybe I SHOULD practice with those old handwriting sheets! =)
I love them Lene! I remember that paper. You did a great job. Thanks for sharing 🙂
What a cute idea! Oh..those sheets with the lines..I had no idea they still used them!
Hi I'm Heather. I have a question about your blog, please email me when you get a chance. HeatherVonSJ(at)gmail(dot)com Thanks!!
